SANYU ELECTRIC, INC.(above far left) is a California corporation established in November of 1996, selling reed relays to companies in the U.S. and all over the world.
Its parent company, SANYU SWITCH CO., LTD., a Japanese corporation, is headquartered in Tokyo, Japan (above second left) and has extensive experience in developing various types of reed relay since 1972. Today, SANYU SWITCH CO., LTD. has two facility subsidiaries, Nagano Sanyu Co., Ltd. (above second right) located in Nagano, Japan and Kumamoto Sanyu Co., Ltd. (above far right) located in Kumamoto, Japan. SANYU SWITCH CO., LTD and its Japanese subsidiaries are certified ISO9001 and operate in accordance with ISO quality standard.
SANYU ELECTRIC PTE. LTD. (below left), is a subsidiary of SANYU ELECTRIC, INC. located in Singapore. It was established in September of 2007 to enable closest customer relations and to focus business in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines, Vietnam, Indonesia and the China territories. SANYU ELECTRIC PTE. LTD. provides technical and sales support to S.E. Asia businesses.
SANYU ELECTRIC, INC. opened its branch office (below right) in Munich, Germany in January of 2008 and started customer support to European regional countries. Because SANYU SWITCH CO., LTD. is the #1 worldwide manufacturer of reed relays, it and its affiliated companies provide full coverage support worldwide to their reed relays customers.
70,000 reed relays are produced each day at SANYU SWITCH CO., LTD. and its Japanese subsidiaries. The Kumamoto subsidiary established fully automated manufacturing lines, from incoming inspection to final shipment inspection, including packaging. The Nagano subsidiary established a highly controlled environmental manufacturing line (clean room) to produce high insulation resistance reed relays and low thermal voltage/EMF reed relays. The facilities of SANYU SWITCH CO., LTD. and its Japanese subsidiaries are certified ISO9001 and have adopted TQM, Manage Preventative Action, Corrective Action, Failure Mode and Effect Analysis, Production Part Approval Process and more. SANYU SWITCH CO., LTD. and its subsidiaries use the “Toyota way”, emulating the company known for Japanese quality management.
Technically advanced environmental tests include Kelvin Contact Test, Paschen Test and more. SANYU SWITCH CO., LTD. and its subsidiaries utilize the latest in high-end measurement equipment: LCR 3GHz capable, 70G/20GHz digital sampling oscilloscope with TDR module 20G/50GHz, S-parameter 13.5G/40G/50GHz and BERT 13.5Gbps, including error detector. All SMT products are 100% tested with fully automated test equipment.
SANYU SWITCH CO., LTD. and its subsidiaries use CST/HFSS/ADS simulation software in its design process to reduce development time, and maintain the upper edge in high speed technology. They have used this technology, not only in reed relays, but in microwave products, cable assemblies and interconnect products since 2003.
